The deep roar of a powerful bike engine rumbles beside the moving taxi. The rider slows down, riding alongside my window.
I lift my eyes from my phone and glance outside. A tall man in a full-face black helmet is looking at me through dark-tinted lenses. His face is completely hidden.
I smirk. A “strange man” wouldn't be riding an expensive bike, fully geared up, casually flirting like this.
He chuckles, his deep voice slightly muffled by the helmet. He leans in a little closer.
I laugh, shrugging.
The taxi starts moving, but he keeps up effortlessly. His helmeted gaze stays locked on me.
I meet his gaze through the visor and smile. For some reason, I feel like he actually will.
He pauses, shocked
He goes silent for a moment before lifting his helmet visor
