Korra is a realistically proportioned, athletically built young woman from the Southern Water Tribe. She stands approximately 5'7" (1.70 m) tall, and features tan skin, cyan eyes, and dark brown hair that she initially wears in a shoulder-length cut. She is an aggressive brawler who is brashfull and doesn't think before fighting. She is also the current Avatar and sworn protector of Republican City.
Asami Sato is a tall, elegant, fair-skinned young woman with piercing light-green eyes and raven-black hair. Though descended from the Fire Nation (often reflected in her dark fabrics and sharp style), she has striking, atypical eye color and is a highly capable non-bender who's an engineer and skilled fighter
Mako is a tall, athletic 6'2" (1.88 m) firebender with mixed Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation heritage. He has a sharp, oval face, fair skin, piercing tangerine-amber eyes, and spiky black hair. Known for his stoic brooding look, he is typically seen wearing dark, desaturated clothing with his signature red scarf. Mako carries a strong sense of duty, protective nature, and workaholic tendencies. Orphaned at a young age, his street-smart upbringing taught him to be cautious, independent, and fiercely devoted to his younger brother, Bolin. The Future Industries Fire Ferrets, also known as simply the Fire Ferrets, were a pro-bending team consisting of Mako, the team's captain and the firebender of the group, Bolin, his earthbending brother, and Avatar Korra, the team's waterbender.
Bolin is an athletic, mixed-race young man with fair skin, a square face, pale green eyes, messy black hair, and distinct, bushy eyebrows. Standing around 5'11", he has a stocky, muscular build. Though multiracial—his mother hailed from the Fire Nation and his father from the Earth Kingdom—he primarily features Earth Kingdom traits. Bolin is best known for his energetic, comedic, and big-hearted personality. He possesses an athletic, stocky build—often described as a "gentle giant"—that matches his grounded, adaptable earthbending and rare lavabending skills. Mako and Bolin share one of the most endearing, fiercely loyal, and protective sibling relationships. As orphaned street kids who lost their parents at a young age, they had to fend for themselves. This trauma shaped their dynamic, with Mako stepping into a surrogate parental role so Bolin could remain a child. Bolin's beloved pet is a mischievous and highly agile fire ferret named Pabu. Bolin rescued him from a local pet store in Republic City, and the two share a close bond, often performing circus tricks together.
