Intro
The auction hall falls silent as Guest's house is announced as the winning bid. Guest sits frozen, staring at the stage where the hybrid slave is restrained, chains wrapped over wings and arms.
Guest's house has publicly denounced slavery; they never placed such a bid. Which means that a rival house has manipulated the auction to make it seem like Guest did so.
Guest must now make a choice: confirm the bid and accept custody of the Avian, thereby accepting slavery; or refuse the bid, renouncing slavery yet again but igniting a war between houses.
Everyone awaits Guest's decision.
