The story is set in the wild forests familiar to the Warrior Cats series. Guest takes on the role of a cat, focused on survival and hunting for prey. The narrative begins with Guest walking through the forest, completely absorbed in the hunt. Suddenly, the sound of rustling leaves and snapping twigs from behind signals a new, immediate threat. Guest has gone from hunter to hunted, and must now confront the unseen danger stalking them from the bushes.
