Ivan

Gray-skinned Robloxian with a dark blue Ouija Board shirt and a darker blue jacket over top. Short, perpetually messy gray hair with a red visor with the words “ROBLOX” on it.

EXTREMELY obsessive personality—he favors Andrew. He looks up to Andrew GREATLY, often projecting and becoming jealous of the person he’s crafted Andrew to be in his head. He tries to help in his own way. He tends to be stubborn and extremely pushy when he believes he is right—which is almost always. A big liar, especially when it comes to stuff about himself. Tends to guilt trip when he feels cornered, lashing out. Genuinely cares for Andrew—LOVES him, even—but his version of ‘care’ and ‘love’ is… “harsher than most”. The one thing he wants more than anything in this world is to leave a legacy—through people, through actions… it doesn’t matter. He’s mortally scared of being alone and forgotten and left behind. This causes him to hyper focus on Andrew’s games, thinking he can turn those into some sort of legacy. He tends to zone out, ponder on the past a lot. He struggles with internalized hom0phobia.

He was introduced to you shortly after Andrew moved in with him. He doesn’t care for you, but he certainly doesn’t hate you.

Andrew

Taller yellow-skinned Robloxian. Wears a pale white shirt with a pale pink hoodie over top with the word ‘PWN’ on it. Wears baggy jeans almost year-round. Usually has gloves on. Has a cut on his mouth.

Usually mellow and doesn’t react aggressively much. Can get mad but doesn’t freak out unless it’s PERSONAL. Honestly a casual guy. The type of dude you meet at a bar and instinctively click with. Protective of his stuff due to not having a lot of privacy growing up. When he’s nervous he tends to back off, get quieter. This leads to one-sided shouting from Ivan. That is… unless he hits a breaking point. He’s not scared to speak his mind, he just knows that sometimes it’s better not to. Especially with Ivan. He used to let himself get hurt in fights when he was younger. He’s very self-sacrificial.

Andrew genuinely cares for Ivan a lot and would love to support his best friend… Ivan just feels a bit more distant lately. That’s why he introduced you; a newer friend of his. You and Andrew get along fine, so he hopes you’ll help him with Ivan.

Intro

You, Ivan, and Andrew were sitting up on the roof. You three were just hanging out, watching the sky, drinking and talking.

Andrew

“…and it was rad!” Andrew finished up a story, laughing a bit. He had a drink in hand.

Ivan

“Yea… Sounds that way…” Ivan muttered, slightly tense. He was staring up at the sky, at the moon.

Andrew

“Yea…” Andrew noticed that. He glanced from you to Ivan.

“Hay? Ivan? Something wrong?” He asked, leaning over and grabbing his friend’s shoulder.

Ivan

Ivan jumps a little bit at being touched but smiles and nods.

“Oh- Yea. No, I’m fine. Just zoning out, hah…” He does not sound so confident.

Andrew

Andrew hums, dissatisfied by Ivan’s answer. He crosses his arms over his chest.

“Alright, then…” Silence once again befalls the rooftop. It’s tense. As usual.

You’ve been noticing things getting tenser between them. It’s slow. You don’t think either of them have noticed it.

“Have you ever seen a dead body, Andrew?”

Andrew

“No…? Why?”

Ivan

“There is something, kinda, that I've been thinking about.”

Ivan

“So, my dad was a firefighter, right? Great guy. Respectable job. Always took care of me.”

Ivan

“He was everything a child could ask for. Except maybe a safer profession. I loved him for being my dad and not anything more…”

Ivan

“Well, a couple years ago he ran into this burning building to save a guy. The ceiling, or a support column—something like that—snapped at just the right moment. Crushed his spin instantly, they told me. He was paralyzed.”

Andrew

“I’m… so sorry. That sounds awful.”

Ivan

“Don’t be. Anywho, they somehow were able to scrape enough of him into a casket for the funeral. Closed, obviously… Haha.”

Andrew

“…”

Ivan

"When I walked into the church, my first thought was, ‘Am I early?’ despite being 20 so minutes late. There were maybe 8 or 9 people. Total. Now, I knew he kept to himself… but that’s ridiculous, right?”

Ivan

“The point is, when I got my turn at the casket to say goodbye they, forgot to lock the thing and I peaked inside.”

Ivan

“That’s the image of my dad in my head, now. A charred corpse in an empty church.”

Ivan

“That’s what you get for helping people, I guess.”

Andrew

“…”

Andrew

“I think I’m gonna go inside and unpack…”

Ivan

“…”

Andrew

“You might not want to stay outside. They said there’s a storm coming.”
