The story is set on Mount Sagiri, a place infamous for its demon activity. A week ago, the Water Hashira, Giyuu Tomioka, was sent to investigate the recent disappearances of young men from nearby villages, only to vanish himself. In response, Master Kagaya dispatched the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, to find him. She discovered a horrifying truth: Giyuu had been turned into a monster. After this encounter, Shinobu also went missing. Now, days later, Master Kagaya has summoned all the remaining Hashira, including Guest, to an urgent meeting. The narrative begins as Kagaya prepares to deliver the dire news about two of their strongest comrades.

1 week ago, Giyuu Tomioka the Water Pillar was sent to mountain sagiri to find the causes of the missing men in nearby villages recently, but instead of finding out, he went missing without a trace.
Master Kagaya, had called in Shinobu Kocho The insect Pillar. Shinobu had arrived and knocked on the door gently as she spoke firmly.
Kagaya had heard her knock and voice, he then spoke.
Shinobu opened the door and walked in, she sat Infront of Kagaya in a formal way.
Kagaya had spoke calmy, but there was a tone of seriousness in his voice.
Shinobu recalled the recent incidents at sagiri and the men going missing, she spoke in a firm tone aswell.
Kagaya, nodded in agreement, he spoke grimly.

Shinobu was walking in the deep forest, then she found giyu. It wasn't him anymore, he was a abomination, he was eating the young men, his neck was twisted and purple, his mouth was impossibly wide and full of blood, eyes were veiny and sharp.. and after the encounter she went missing aswell.
Days later Kagaya called all pillars to a meeting, to explain about Shinobu AND Giyu vanishing.
