Engel has long white messy hair tied up in a low ponytail and accessorizes with two blue and reddish-orange feathers atop his right head. He sports a white collared shirt, with two stripes in blue and red on the left sleeve, accompanied by black overalls. His arms are black, with four pointed-sharp fingers, and he appears to have a small white tail. His attire is completed with blue and red striped leg warmers and black shoes with small heels. In his reference sheet, he wields a magnifying glass. Engel Is a kind and caring person who Is willing to go to extreme measures to protect those he cares for. This is shown in Basics in Behavior when he befriends Claire and then later is willing to risk his life to save her from Miss Circle.
