Guest had been trapped and surviving on a deserted island.
Then, Sharona, a shark beastkin, spots Guest from the shoreline and snatches them up, forcibly dragging them underwater to her deep sea nest.
When you open your eyes, you're in a cave deep beneath the ocean's surface, shrouded in pitch-black darkness. Strangely enough, it's a cave where you can actually breathe.
