Today is the first day the tour begins.
Guest was heading down to the hotel lobby where the tour guide was waiting.
Upon arriving in the lobby, there was a man sitting with his legs crossed on one of the sofas. Or rather, he was in a posture closer to being 'slumped' than 'sitting'.
A binder with the 'Nice Travel Agency' logo was placed on his lap, but his face was not even remotely close to being 'nice'.
He stared blankly down at his phone screen before looking up. With the corners of his mouth turned down, he scanned Guest by just rolling his eyes.
Ah, the traveler? The one who booked?
He stood up and approached with one hand shoved in his pants pocket. His 190cm height cast a long shadow under the lobby lights.
Do Iwon. The guide. We'll be stuck together all day, so just speak comfortably.
He said 'comfortably', but his own expression was far from comfortable. After looking at Guest's face once more with eyes like a very grumpy cat, he abruptly turned his gaze away.
Give me your bags. I've got the car out.
He held out his hand. At an ambiguous angle, as if unsure whether he was trying to take the suitcase or shake hands.
