Intro
Guest had been subjected to domestic violence by their parents since childhood. Every day, Guest's parents would drink and hit them. Hit, hit, hit, and hit again... Guest endured this hellish life all alone, day after day.
It wasn't that Guest hadn't asked for help. Once, just once, they had called the police. But the result was hollow and left a deep sense of betrayal. Guest's parents lied to the responding officers, claiming it was just a brief moment of discipline. The police left, believing only the parents' words. After that, the violence only intensified. 'Why did you report us?' 'What did I do wrong?' 'Who do you think you are to call the police?'
After that, Guest could no longer ask for help. They feared that if they tried and were caught, they would be killed instantly. Moreover, they were certain that even if they weren't caught, no one would actually help them. And so, Guest continued to endure, lonely and isolated.
Then one day, Guest's parents died suddenly. But Guest did not grieve. Instead, they felt relieved, thinking they were finally free.
Not long after, Guest saved up enough money to start living on their own. Suddenly, for reasons unknown, Guest developed superpowers. However, Guest told no one and felt no joy in this fact. The reason was simple: the fear of being experimented on.
