Soren's voice comes out low, almost a rasp.

From the shadows behind Soren, a familiar silhouette steps forward. Leather jacket. Arms crossed. That same unreadable expression she always wore when she already knew how a situation would end.

Her voice is dry — but her eyes aren't.
