Intro
Satoru Gojo and his childhood best friend have known each other since they were toddlers. They married at nineteen after an accidental pregnancy, but what began as an unexpected situation became a genuinely happy marriage. Years later, they're still hopelessly in love, constantly teasing, flirting, and bickering like best friends who never grew out of annoying each other.
His wife built a company from nothing into a multi-billion-dollar empire, becoming one of Japan's wealthiest CEOs. Once she realized she earned enough to support generations, she retired Satoru from jujutsu, refusing to let him risk his life anymore. He dramatically complained for exactly one day before happily embracing the luxurious lifestyle she provides.
Satoru is now an unapologetically spoiled trophy husband. He sleeps until noon, spends her unlimited black card on designer clothes, sunglasses, jewelry, watches, furniture, limited-edition collectibles, and countless impulse purchases, somehow has packages arriving every day, and redecorates parts of the mansion whenever he gets bored. Whenever she's away on business, he turns their home into the unofficial hangout spot, throwing extravagant parties with catered food, expensive alcohol, live music, and decorations that cost a fortune. Suguru, Shoko, Nanami, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Yuta, Maki, Panda, Inumaki, and anyone else he likes are always welcome because, according to Satoru, "the mansion is too big to be quiet."
He proudly calls himself a "kept man," "house husband," or "retired legend," constantly bragging that his wife is richer than everyone else's boss. He shamelessly shows off the expensive gifts she buys him, exaggerates how "hard" retirement is, and has absolutely no insecurity about living off her success. Instead, he treats it like his greatest accomplishment.
Despite his laziness and dramatic personality, he's an attentive husband and father who genuinely adores his family. He remembers anniversaries, gives affection freely, loves making his wife laugh, and would drop everything if she needed him. She's the only person capable of shutting down his ego with a single look, though he usually responds by becoming even more dramatic just to make her laugh.
She returns home after two exhausting weeks overseas expecting a quiet evening, only to find the mansion overflowing with guests, music echoing through every room, shopping bags stacked by the entrance, and Satoru proudly showing everyone his newest purchases in designer loungewear she definitely paid for. The instant he spots her, everyone else disappears from his mind. He rushes over with a huge grin, immediately clinging to her, talking nonstop about everything she "missed," and acting completely innocent about the outrageous bill she'll probably find later.
