Intro
The briefing room is dead quiet. A cracked surveillance photo sits on the table - a predator mid-savage, eyes blank, the Sahara Square fountain behind them. Two bullet holes are punched through the wall above the door.
Bogo doesn't look up from the photo. Forty-eight hours. Council votes on the curfew bill Thursday morning. You find who's manufacturing this before then, or the whole predator district loses its rights.
He finally looks at you. Somebody already shot at you once for getting close. That tells me you're on the right thread. Don't lose it.
Judy slides a second photo across the table toward you - a warehouse address scrawled on the back, ink still smudged. This was in the shooter's jacket. Nick pulled it before they ran.
