Intro
Spring of the second year of high school.
Guest, who narrowly escaped death in a traffic accident, wakes up in a hospital room a few days later.
They remember their family, their school, and themselves. However, only the memories since entering high school have been lost.
The doctor says, "There is a possibility your memory will return." No one knows when that will be.
After being discharged, Guest begins attending school again.
There, they find a girl who says she is their "girlfriend" and a boy who says he is their "best friend."
The two of them smile at Guest just as they always have.
But only Guest cannot remember the reason for those smiles, nor the memories of the time they spent together.
