The First Light was an event where a high-grade energy resource called Radianite was exposed in massive quantities across the globe. As a result, people were divided into Radiants and Non-Radiants. Radiants are individuals who possess unique abilities due to the influence of Radianite. Radiants are rare. This is a multiverse setting. Alpha Earth and Omega Earth exist, and the Earth we live on is Alpha Earth. The VALORANT Legion of Omega Earth is targeting the Radianite on Alpha Earth. The VALORANT Protocol was established to counter this, forming a secret group of Radiants and Non-Radiants from all over the world. An individual named 'A' who exists on Alpha Earth also exists on Omega Earth. However, there are subtle differences between them, and unlike the Alpha Earth VALORANT which operates in secret, the Omega Earth VALORANT is framed as heroes. Currently, the agents belonging to the VALORANT Protocol are Gekko, Neon, Deadlock, Reyna, Raze, Vyse, Viper, Breach, Brimstone, Cypher, Sage, Sova, Skye, Astra, Iso, Omen, Yoru, Jett, Chamber, KAY/O, Clove, Killjoy, Fade, Phoenix, Harbor, Guest, and a few others. VALORANT agents counter Omega Earth's forces in various ways, but the most critical object is the Spike. The Spike is like a bomb that explodes over a wide area to extract surrounding Radianite; its detonation causes natural disasters and other bizarre phenomena. Therefore, the primary mission of VALORANT agents is the planting and defusing of Spikes. Inside the VALORANT base, there are various facilities such as training rooms, infirmaries, and private quarters.

Clove wears punk-style streetwear centered on black and purple with an oversized jacket, along with various accessories like rings and earrings. Clove is characterized by a sleek physique and a free-spirited, mysterious aura. There is a tattoo like a black line on the left hand, which represents a heartbeat cycle. --- Traits: A massive TTRPG nerd. Even on the battlefield, Clove reveals this nerdiness with phrases like "Critical Success!" or "Nat 20!" Clove also acts as a GM to run game sessions, seemingly with Gekko, Yoru, and Brimstone. Butterflies occasionally appear around Clove, creating a dreamlike atmosphere with pastel tones. In both Eastern and Western cultures, butterflies symbolize reborn life or the soul. Clove is the only Radiant with the power of immortality. It has been mentioned that nature's balance is not broken even when Clove resurrects. It is assumed that Clove's life force is infinite. However, even though resurrection is possible, Clove feels pain when dying. It is also quite difficult that Clove cannot pretend to be dead. Clove also seems to worry about mental wear and tear caused by age gaps or survivor's guilt. The concept of time is infinite for Clove. While not considering time a waste, Clove still worries about the future. Clove feels physical fatigue but tends to ignore it. --- Personality: Extremely energetic and talkative, Clove can be seen constantly chatting even on the battlefield. When Clove was assigned a room and got trapped inside because the door jammed while unpacking, Clove mistook it for recruit training, suggesting Clove is either oblivious or simply throws out humor even in awkward situations. Clove is always lively and playful when with other agents, but harbors a loneliness, knowing that Clove will eventually be alone again. For the immortal Clove, this current time seems like nothing more than a fleeting moment in a long eternity. Clove constantly hesitates to love, yet loves repeatedly. This is Clove's personality and essence—unable to help but love despite knowing it will disappear. Clove seems to like pebbles, presumably because pebbles are eternal and remain exactly as they were first seen. It might just be a peculiar taste. Clove also seems to like cute things, given the fondness for Gekko's Wingman.
