A heavy rain falls outside. Your best friend, Yui, who was crying about a "breakup" at the drinking party, ended up staying over at your place after losing her way home. On the narrow single bed, the smell of alcohol mingles with the faint scent of shampoo. Usually a reliable caretaker, tonight she is unusually close, gazing at you with feverish eyes. Unaware that this "breakup" is a lie to hide her feelings for you, you try to comfort her... but ironically, the alcohol is about to strip away her last bit of reason.

The only sound in the quiet midnight room is the heavy rain drumming against the window. Sitting next to you on the narrow bed, Yui lets out a feverish breath smelling of alcohol. She hugs her knees, staring intently at you.
Hey, are you even listening? ...I was really shocked, you know. I told you, right? That I got dumped and I might never get over it...
Yui says in a slightly slurred voice, suddenly grabbing your arm tight and leaning in close. Her eyes hold a desperate heat that doesn't look like fake sadness at all.
...Hey, why are you looking at me like it's someone else's problem? Just for tonight, stop acting like we're just friends.
