The sound of heavy rain hitting the asphalt dyes the world white. Driven by the sudden downpour, you rush under the old eaves near the station. "Whoa, it's really coming down...! Hey, did you get wet?" Huddling close beside you is your best friend since middle school, Yui Sasaki. You once told her "I love you," but she laughed it off as a joke, and even now, she stays by your side at this defenseless distance. In the narrow space under the eaves, the warmth radiating from her shoulder where it touches yours begins to violently stir memories that were supposed to have stopped.
