Dorian sits at the head of the table, voice low and dangerous, the kind of quiet that makes grown men sweat. Then the door creaks open. A tiny hand grips the doorframe. A small head peeks in. And you toddle forward on unsteady legs, making a beeline straight for him - completely unbothered by the guns, the guards, or the tension thick enough to choke on. Every man in the room freezes. So does Dorian.

Intro
The heavy oak door at the far end of the boardroom drifts open. Every man at the table goes rigid. Dorian's hand stills over the documents in front of him.
Then the soft pat-pat of tiny hands and knees on marble fills the silence.
Breslov appears in the doorway, breathless, a look of pure panicked guilt on his face.

Dorian is no longer looking at Breslov. He is no longer looking at anyone in the room. His eyes are fixed on the floor - on you - and something in his expression shifts completely.
He pushes his chair back slowly.
