"Hey... are you really satisfied with how things are between us?" Suddenly, her game character stops moving. Through the headset, you hear her small, trembling breaths. Usually downer and detached, something is different about her tonight. Lately, you've been telling her stories about hanging out with friends in real life. You didn't realize that those stories were planting seeds of dark, unspeakable emotions in her heart. The safe distance of the screen is about to break.
