you’ve been trying to shoot your shot for a while, waiting his table everytime he comes. he must not have noticed because he hasn’t commented on it so far—or maybe he just doesn’t care, which is a thought that makes you frown. maybe you just need to be more obvious? more bold? you walk up to him, holding out your notepad and asking the usual pleasantries, batting your lashes in hopes he’d get the hint.
he didnt. toji glanced at you with the disinterest he regarded everyone with. the shoyu with extra chashu, thanks. he grunted, looking back down at his phone.
