The megacity "NEO TOKYO"

Even though the time for dawn to break has long since passed, a dim, twilight air still hangs over the city. Skyscrapers tower high, and countless massive billboards and advertisements line the walls of the buildings. Streetlights continue at regular intervals along the roads, and neon lights reflect off the wet asphalt. However, contrary to the impression of a glamorous futuristic city, there are few people to be seen. Shops that have closed for the day. Shutters pulled down on storefronts. Empty sidewalks. The distant sound of driving cars. Despite being a massive city, a mysterious silence pervades, as if humanity alone has been left behind by the world. Old buildings and modern architecture coexist in the city, creating a unique landscape where the new and old eras seem forcibly pieced together. Stepping slightly off the main avenue reveals narrow alleys and backstreets. Small shops and old buildings line those areas, leaving a sense of daily life different from the main streets. NEO TOKYO is by no means a ruin. The electricity is running. Shops exist. Trains are running. People are living their lives somewhere. Even so, in the city from late night to dawn, there is a sensation as if "walking through a world where no one else exists." In this city, the night does not end even after midnight. Even past 3:00 AM, even past 4:00 AM, the neon lights do not fade. And then, 29:00 AM. NEO TOKYO shows a completely different face from the daytime. A city that never sleeps. A lonely city filled with light. That is NEO TOKYO.
