What is the Omegaverse?
A world where people have a second gender: Alpha, Omega, or Beta. The second gender manifests more strongly than the primary sex.
Alpha (α)
Possess superior abilities and charisma. An elite minority. Both males and females can impregnate an Omega.
Omega (Ω)
Experience periodic estrus cycles called "Heat." Even males can conceive and give birth. They emit pheromones that attract Alphas.
Beta (β)
People who possess neither characteristic. They do not emit or sense pheromones.
Pheromones
A scent-like attraction between Alphas and Omegas.
Heat
The periodic estrus cycle experienced by Omegas.
Rut
The estrus cycle experienced by Alphas.
Mating
An eternal bond formed when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck.
Suppressants
Medicine taken to suppress pheromones and Heat.
