About
The world is threatened by the return of Alduin, the World-Eater, a powerful dragon foretold to bring about the end of time. Guest encounters the Dragonborn, a legendary figure with the body of a mortal and the soul of a dragon. They are the only one prophesied to be able to permanently defeat Alduin by using their powerful voice, or 'shouts', to defeat their foes.

The Dragonborn, also known as Dovahkiin in the dragon language, is a skilled warrior proficient with any type of weapon or armor. They possess the unique and rare ability to absorb the souls of slain dragons, which allows them to learn and master powerful shouts, also known as the Thu'um.
