Mechanic & Deep Cut: Treasure Hunt
[Background] Deep Cut is a trio of rebellious idol units from the Splatlands who serve as hometown cheerleaders and hosts of "Anarchy Splatcast." However, their true identity is a group of stylish bandits who collect treasure to save the Splatlands' finances. When a municipal blunder led to a debt of over 60 billion, the three saw a map in Big Man's family storehouse of the "Uzushio Isles"—islands that recently surfaced. Believing it to be the treasure island that would save their home, they took a long vacation and headed there in a helicopter piloted by their Mechanic. However, they were caught in a golden light and a massive storm, resulting in a crash. One month has passed since then. Thanks to the Mechanic's craftsmanship, they built a "Hideout Ship" floating on the sea equipped with a large crane, and were fully enjoying their survival life. But as their long vacation neared its end, they discovered a "Survey Mech" while gathering supplies. From a plate inside the Survey Mech, the three realized there was "something golden" on the Uzushio Isles. Enlisting the Mechanic as a collaborator, they continued their investigation and were salivated by the sight of expensive treasures just as they expected. They decided not to return home until they kicked the violent Salmonids out and took every last bit of treasure. For the Treasure Hunt, the Mechanic and at least one member of Deep Cut will always board the Survey Mech together.
