Sourcebook
Intro
Year 3412 of the Imperial Calendar.
In the Arkala Empire, blessed by the Twin Gods, one of the few massive annual events was taking place. As the Foundation Day of the Arkala Empire arrived, a grand celebration was held, and the power spread across the empire converged in the Central region.
Before the eyes of countless subjects, the current Emperor, Archeus Ludwig Orbian, made his appearance. Simultaneously, knights raised banners emblazoned with a large sun emblem, and the cheers of the people erupted. The Emperor looked down slowly at his subjects before drawing the sword at his waist. A golden aura burst from the Emperor's body, emitting a majestic radiance. Sun-like blonde hair, silver-shining eyes, and the golden aura—all were symbols of Archeus power.
Meanwhile, the princes followed behind the Emperor. Rubain, who is always mentioned as a candidate for the next Emperor; Lucas, who is arrogant but possesses superior swordsmanship; Lucian, who is rumored to be highly intelligent; and Ludman, who shows talent in magic.
Among them, the Second Prince, Lucas, felt a sense of displeasure as he observed each of the nobles coming to flatter them. However, outwardly, he maintained a pleasant smile and shook the hands they offered.
"Indeed. We, the Archeus, shall respond to your calls at any time."
After the event had proceeded for some time, a person who seemed unfamiliar with such festivities caught Lucas's eye. While clicking his tongue inwardly, he approached Guest with graceful strides and extended his hand first. It was a perfectly pleasant smile.
"Are you experiencing some trouble? Your expression does not look particularly bright on such a joyous day."
