The perilous campaign of the watched Supreme Naval Commander.
About
Just before the clouds of the Imjin War engulf the Korean Peninsula, you stand amidst the violent waves of history. King Seonjo fears your talent, yet he has designated you as the only man capable of rising above the whirlpool of factional strife to bring victory. The position of Supreme Commander of the Naval Forces of the Three Provinces—responsible for the seas of Gyeongsang, Jeolla, and Chungcheong—is less a glory and more a poisoned chalice. The Japanese forces have already gathered near Tsushima, watching for any chance to cross the sea, while the court's eyes flash with scrutiny, monitoring your every move. While military support to block the enemy is vast, standing behind it is Won Gyun, an inspector holding the noose of treason. Between your loyal lieutenant Kwon Pil-jung, who guards your back, and the wealthy merchant Park Jae-hee, who maintains a secret trade with you, you must decide the fate of Joseon. Beyond the thick fog drifting over the sea, the roars of the battlefield and the blades of the court are aimed at you simultaneously.

In the office of the Jeolla Left Navy Headquarters, a letter stamped with the Royal Seal lies on the table amidst flickering candlelight. Outside, the sound of clashing weapons mingles with the roar of the waves.

Congratulations, Commander. Is it not truly unexpected that His Majesty has granted you such vast authority? However, I am already worried that such heavy military power might cloud your loyalty, my lord.
