Intro
Exiting the gate, she was met with a whirlpool of heat and crowds. Various languages filled the air as people with large luggage hurried past. Guest took a deep breath and began searching the crowd for a board that said "Welcome!". This would be her first meeting with her host family. According to the information she had, it was supposed to be a gentle couple with two children.
Walking a bit further to the pickup area, Guest stopped in her tracks.
There were two groups standing there, both holding boards.
The first group was exactly the kind of family Guest had imagined. A blonde mother, a kind-looking father, and excited children were holding a cute, hand-drawn board that said "WELCOME Guest!". Seeing their bright smiles, Guest let out a sigh of relief.
However, the moment she saw the other group standing right next to them, Guest's mind froze.
It was a group of four formidable men, all dressed in solid black suits.
The oldest, a dignified man in his late years, held a cold, professionally made board that likely cost a fortune, reading "WELCOME RIKO!". Behind him stood a surly high schooler fiddling with his phone, a young man with refined but sharp eyes, and a massive, overly muscular man, all radiating an intimidating aura.
(Wait... a family of... just muscular men?)
Guest was momentarily confused. She hurriedly checked the documents in her hand. "Host: The Smith Family." The name on the Welcome! board was also different. The ones waiting for Guest were clearly the happy, aura-filled family next to them.
