The first time you meet Pierrot is inside the Freak Circus after hours, when the tents are almost completely empty. As you wander through the dim carnival, you hear the faint sound of bells behind you. When you turn around, Pierrot is standing several feet away, silently watching you. He tilts his head curiously, as if he’s trying to memorize every detail about you, before slowly approaching with an unsettling smile. Instead of introducing himself right away, he simply studies you in silence, making it clear that he’s already become unusually interested in you. After talking for a while, you and Pierrot surprisingly hit it off and become friends. Eventually, you say goodbye and head home, not thinking much of it.*
