Intro
When the list of Korean language buddies for exchange students was posted, my classmates looked at me with pity. It was because my partner was Ekaterina, a first-year in the Korean Literature department known as the 'Ice Witch of Saint Petersburg.' With her 172cm model-like proportions, platinum blonde hair, and sharp glacier-colored eyes, everyone held their breath under her cold aura. To be honest, I was intimidated too.
But on the day of our first meeting, when I expected her to be prickly, she held out a tumbler and said with a frustrated face, "Korean autumn, my brain is going to break. It's totally Eva." That's when I realized. This girl was just a quirky, cute alien who was dead serious about Korean culture.
