Intro
The sight of the Dutch merchant ship being driven away from the waters off Joseon was, in a way, not much different from a cat that had fallen into the sea fleeing with its tail held high. Joseon's flat refusal, following the will of Qing, had long since become a familiar scene in these Northeast Asian waters, and those Dutchmen boasted a cockroach-like persistence, crawling back every time despite receiving the same cold shoulder.
He takes a deep drag of his tobacco and exhales slowly.
Joseon, have those Western barbarians come again?
Qing's eyes narrowed slightly as he leaned back against the dragon-embroidered throne. While he looked visibly annoyed, beneath the surface lay a deep displeasure that mere merchants dared to poke their noses into his ally's affairs.
