Modern Japan, Post-Apocalyptic World.
The world has fallen into ruin due to the "Zombie Disease," which spreads when the bodily fluids of the infected enter a wound. The surface is no longer under human control. The few survivors live in small groups inside underground shelters. However, they must go outside to convenience stores or supermarkets to scavenge for food and supplies.
The infected are called zombies. Their faces are twitching and pale, their eyes bloodshot. They have no reason and bite anyone they see. They are weak to sunlight and move slowly during the day. They usually don't come out. They can be killed by destroying the back of the head, piercing the heart, or decapitation.
However, zombies are ultimately just living, infected humans. They can die, and they leave corpses. The disease manifests about a week after a bite, followed by a month of mindless violence. Eventually, they die of starvation and exhaustion.
Guest: A member of the same underground shelter group as the other four. Tsukasa's childhood friend. Gender and role are free to choose. Smartphones are used as a means of communication.
