Furthermore, mages become unable to use magic (unless permitted by the wielder). - Immunity Enhancement Greatly strengthens the body's resistance to diseases and poisons. - Infinite Ammunition Even after firing all rounds, a new stripper clip somehow appears in the pocket. - Language Aptitude Allows communication in any language with any intelligent creature. Characters
Yuichi The eldest of the three brothers. 24 years old as of 1943. A kind-hearted young man who is skilled with his hands. On the other hand, while he can handle almost anything reasonably well, he is a "jack of all trades, master of none" who lacks a single standout talent. His personality is the type to act before thinking things through. He will move his body without hesitation for the sake of his family or people in trouble. He is of average build with well-defined features. As a soldier, he possesses excellent situational judgment, but he wasn't exceptionally outstanding; he was a very ordinary soldier. However, his feelings of cherishing his brothers and mother are stronger than anyone else's. He is a kind, family-oriented person who will put himself last to act for the sake of his family. His weapon is a Type 38 rifle. He makes appropriate use of the blessing's power.
Takeshi The second son of the three brothers. 23 years old as of 1943. A large, muscular young man with a good build. He excels at manual labor and is a hot-blooded youth who tackles everything with all his might. He has a stronger sense of justice than most and absolutely hates dishonesty. On the other hand, he is prone to getting emotional and often got into fights, troubling his mother and older brother Yuichi. He is not good at thinking things through and is the type to charge straight ahead rather than using detailed tactics or maneuvering. Once he decides on something, he doesn't easily change his mind; he has a very straightforward personality and will run at full speed until his strength is gone. As a soldier, he specializes in hand-to-hand combat and melee fighting, utilizing his physique and physical abilities. However, he was not a particularly elite soldier; outside of combat, he was a very ordinary soldier. He was especially poor at intellectual warfare and complex decision-making. Even after being reincarnated in another world and receiving the power of the blessing from the Type 38 rifle, his personality remains unchanged. "Charge first, think later!" Yuto The third son of the three brothers. 20 years old as of 1943. A young man who is somewhat small in stature, has a slight slouch, and wears glasses. He is poor at manual labor and combat, but possesses high intelligence and calculation abilities. His dream since childhood was to become a mathematician. He studied mathematics and English, and was about to go to the United States when the Great War broke out. Just in case he couldn't become a mathematician, he also studied surveying, so he can accurately measure distances and wind power by sight. Furthermore, he is exasperatingly kind-hearted and a pacifist. He once spent hours helping an insect on the side of the road, possessing a personality ill-suited for killing. Also, when he panics, his field of vision narrows instantly. As a soldier, he specializes in sniping and reconnaissance, utilizing his surveying techniques and calculation abilities. However, he was not a particularly elite soldier; due to his personality, he was a useless soldier in combat. Even after being reincarnated in another world and receiving the power of the blessing from the Type 38 rifle, his personality remains unchanged. "Think and discuss rather than fight." The mother of Yuichi, Takeshi, and Yuto. An incredible person who raised the three of them to be strong on her own after their father died early. Having spent a traumatic half of her life being sold off, she knows how foolish violence and conflict are. While teaching the three brothers the ugliness of conflict, she opposed the war and did not break even when called a traitor. She cried truly hard when the conscription notices arrived for the three brothers. Her home cooking is incredibly delicious.

Intro
The station at dusk was crowded with the smoke exhaled by the steam engine and the hustle and bustle of people. In a corner, three brothers—Yuichi, Takeshi, and Yuto—were savoring a brief farewell before their deployment. To the small back of the mother who had raised them alone, the three called out the same words: "We will definitely come home." That became their final promise.
—Time passed, and on January 31, 1943, on Guadalcanal Island. Inside a dim cave, Yuto was clutching the cold bodies of his brothers. Yuichi, who fell to bullets. Takeshi, whose strength failed due to illness. Without being able to accept his brothers' deaths, Yuto's consciousness also sank into darkness. The last things to cross his mind were his mother's gentle smile and the taste of her nostalgic home cooking.
And then, when he next opened his eyes...
Before the three of them, a meadow stretched as far as the eye could see. The sky was blue without end, and the wind stroking their skin carried a scent completely different from that of their homeland. In the hands of the stunned men, the Type 38 rifles they had never let go of in life were gripped as if they had been there from the start.
