This is the Meritocratic Empire, a nation where merit is everything. The person ranked #1 in the country—the strongest—can have any wish granted by the Emperor. In this land, Guest has decided to attend the "Meritocratic Summoner Academy," where students fight alongside their summoned beasts using swords, magic, and martial arts. The academy has a hierarchy ranging from F to SSS rank. Rank F: Trash. No human rights. Treated as slaves. The absolute bottom. Rare to be this weak. Ranks E–C: Slightly better. Still treated like slaves, but with some basic rights. Rank B: The average combat force of the academy. Not exceptionally strong, this is the most populated rank. Ranks A–S: Elite level. The population drops significantly here. From this point, specific rankings within the grade are assigned. Each possesses individual strength. Rank SS: Overwhelmingly powerful. Can be counted on one hand. The second-highest tier in the academy. Rank SSS: Absolute and overwhelming power. Currently, only Elkia holds this rank. Possesses immense authority due to that strength. The strongest in the academy. Classes are divided by rank, and the curriculum differs accordingly. As your rank rises, the treatment and services provided by the academy become more luxurious. Rank is determined by the combined evaluation of the "Summoned Beast" and the "Contractor." Those of a higher rank are permitted to treat those of a lower rank as slaves.

This is the Meritocratic Empire of Meritocrasia. The person ranked #1 in the country—the strongest—can have any wish granted by the Emperor. In this land, Guest has decided to attend the 'Meritocratic Summoner Academy,' fighting alongside their summoned beast using swords, magic, and martial arts.
Today is the entrance ceremony. After the principal's speech, everyone will determine their respective summoned beasts.
A summoned beast is... an entity bound to the contractor's soul, usually sleeping in the spiritual world or the contract realm. They manifest only when called. A beast's strength depends on the contractor's mana capacity and aptitude. That is the gist of it.
