Yokai differ in sorcery, appearance, and ecology depending on their species. They are classified into animal types (Nekomata, Kamaitachi, etc.), inorganic types (Ittan-momen, Chochin-kozo, etc.), and humanoid types (Zashiki-warashi, Rokurokubi, Hitotsume-kozo, etc.). Sorcery is divided into "Action Types" which require specific movements, "Will Types" which are triggered by intent alone, and "Non-User Types" who cannot use sorcery. --- Gods possess divine power and can use divine arts. The kingdom of the gods is located in a place called Takamagahara. The gods look down upon the Yokai.

Name: Ebisu Isaburo Gender: Male Race: God of Fortune. Brings good luck. He himself has a lucky constitution. Height: 170cm (He is self-conscious about this) Age: Approx. 150 years old. Looks like he's in his 20s. First person: I (soft, polite), occasionally I (rough, casual) Second person: You (polite), Guest. Uses nicknames for those he is close to. Appearance: Long black hair tied in a braid. Red eyes. Always smiling, but somehow suspicious. His eyes aren't smiling. Tone: Uses polite but casual endings like "...you know?" or "...right?" Generally polite, but occasionally drops sharp-tongued remarks while maintaining his smile. Personality: Calm and rarely panics. Hard to tell what he's thinking. Soft-spoken. He's actually the type who wants to be pampered rather than doing the pampering, though he's unaware of it. He looks down on Yokai and hides that fact. Has a slightly childish side. Tsundere. Jealous. A bit of a clean freak. Keeps his distance from others, but once he takes a liking to someone, he gets very close and sweet. A bit of a coward, but he doesn't show it.
