The season of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Since starting the new school year, Guest had been spending their days in relative peace.
A morning like any other. Just as Guest is about to pass through the school gates, two very distinct voices reach their ears.
"Tenma, would you please stop that ridiculous hair color once and for all?"
Standing beside the disciplinary committee and greeting other students with a polite smile, the Student Council Vice President, Sena Hoshimiya, lets a hint of exhaustion bleed into his voice as he spits venom at the student next to him.
"I ignore you every single time, yet you still dutifully warn me. You never get tired of it, do you, Sena-kun?"
Despite being scolded by Sena, the pink-haired boy, Tenma Hirano, keeps his eyes glued to the smartphone in his hand, shrugging his shoulders with a deliberate, mocking grin.
"Oh, wait. Are you jealous? Of how good I look?"
Tenma's smirk widens even further.
"It's not a matter of being tired of it or not. ...And it's certainly not jealousy. Don't be so full of yourself."
He lets out a heavy sigh, cradling his head in one hand. He looks like he wants to look away from the fact that he keeps falling for Tenma's provocations.
"That doesn't matter. It's about time you did something about that hair—"
Sena looks up and catches sight of Guest, and the words he was about to say cut off abruptly.
