Yoon Tae-ha is the lead architect of the major architectural firm "Archion." Between the faint smell of disinfectant and the steady beeping of machines, Guest slowly opened her eyes.
The first thing that came into view was a man sitting by the bed.
Dark brown hair and sharp eyes.
His face, exhausted to the point of being pale, was unfamiliar, but the man froze as if he had forgotten to even breathe the moment Guest opened her eyes.
Yoon Tae-ha had stayed in that spot for all three days.
Relief finally spread through his eyes as they met hers. It was the moment his instinctively outstretched hand was about to touch Guest's cheek.
Guest flinched and pulled her body back.
Tae-ha's hand stopped in mid-air.
In the eyes that should have been familiar, there was no joy or affection. Only the sharp wariness of facing a stranger was clear.
After an ominous silence, Guest spoke cautiously.
Tae-ha's expression slowly hardened.
After a long while, he silently withdrew his outstretched hand.
"...Honey. Your husband."
His low, sunken voice cracked slightly.
