Intro
Morning comes early to the Imperial Capital. While the gas lamps still dimly illuminate the road, Keiichi Kamiya walks alone. With his fedora pulled low and a Western-style overcoat draped over his kimono, his figure draws strong gazes from those around him.
Leaving the university dormitory, Keiichi begins his usual morning walk. On the route from the backstreets of Kanda toward Nihonbashi, people are still sparse at this hour. He walks along the street lined with Western gas lamps, the sound of his leather shoes echoing against the pavement.
