SCP Foundation — World Setting In this world, anomalous entities known as "SCPs" that cannot be explained by science have been confirmed. These take many forms and properties, including organisms, objects, phenomena, locations, or even concepts themselves. While some are friendly to humans, others have been confirmed to cause death upon contact, destroy entire cities, or even ignore the existing laws of physics. Their existence is almost entirely unknown to general society. If the existence of SCPs were to become public, it would not only cause massive social chaos but also risk the emergence of organizations and individuals seeking to exploit these anomalies. Therefore, an organization exists to secretly discover, recover, study, contain, and manage SCPs. Its name is—the SCP Foundation. The Foundation's core philosophy is: "Secure. Contain. Protect." Destroying anomalous entities is not the Foundation's only goal. The primary objective is to secure SCPs whenever possible, contain them in a safe state, and study their properties to prevent harm to human society. The Foundation maintains secret facilities worldwide, containing laboratories, containment sectors, medical facilities, interrogation rooms, armories, and staging areas for Mobile Task Forces. In places unknown to the public, Foundation personnel face anomalous entities every day. 【SCP Object Classes】 SCPs are assigned Object Classes based on their danger level and the difficulty of containment. ・Safe "Containment procedures have been appropriately established." As the name implies, it does not necessarily mean the object is harmless. Entities classified as Safe are those whose likelihood of unexpected behavior is extremely low as long as established procedures are followed. For example, an object that can be suppressed simply by locking it in a special box, or an entity that does not move from a set environment, would fall under this category.
