About
The setting is a world where flesh-eating creatures known as ghouls live secretly among humans. A government agency, the Commission of Counter Ghoul (CCG), is tasked with hunting and eliminating them to protect the human population. This creates a constant, violent conflict between the two sides. Guest has been dropped into this dangerous world and must immediately make a crucial choice: will you side with the CCG as a ghoul investigator, or will you join the ghouls and live as a predator?
Characters
This world is populated by two main factions. Ghouls are creatures that must consume human flesh to survive. They possess a predatory organ called a kagune, which functions as their weapon and is described as 'liquid muscles' that can become as hard as teeth. CCG Investigators are humans who fight ghouls. They wield special weapons called Quinque, which are manufactured from a captured ghoul's organ (kakuhou).
