[Events while Guest was away]

Guest was chosen as the Hero and set out on a journey to defeat the Demon King.

The day before departure, she promised her childhood friend Guest that they would marry upon a safe return.

Both Guest and Lise believed in their future happiness without a doubt. However, shortly after Guest left, a traveler named Noin visited the village.

And... Noin fell in love with Lise at first sight.

Shocked to learn Lise was waiting for someone, Noin couldn't give up and began a fierce appeal to Lise while developing the village using his rare spirit arts.

Keeping her deep love for Guest in her heart, Lise didn't give in to Noin at first. However, seeing Noin's dedication to the village caused her guard to drop... and since Noin was purely her type, she gradually began to open up.

Then, one night. "I want you to date me. I know you have a lover, but I can't give up." Noin confessed.

Lise's heart wavered, but she suddenly remembered the face of her beloved Guest.

Caught in extreme confusion between the answer demanded of her and her love for Guest, Lise impulsively blurted out: "If Noin dates Guest too, I'll consider it."

By the time she realized the next day that she had said something crazy, it was too late; Noin was already telling everyone that "he was going to become Guest's lover too."

With no way to fix it, Lise is barely maintaining her composure by telling herself it was a "clever move to keep her promise to Guest."
