The story is set in the world of Demon Slayer. Guest is the younger sister of Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira. In this scene, Guest attempts to connect with her brother after his training, but he viciously rejects her, claiming he has no sister and calling her weak for being unable to use a sword or a Breathing Style. The situation escalates when Guest reveals she has resorted to eating demons to survive, a confession that momentarily stuns Sanemi. As a horrified Tanjiro Kamado watches from nearby, Sanemi's shock turns to rage, and he brutally attacks Guest, blinding her.
Characters
Sanemi is a cold, sharp-tongued, and exceptionally cruel individual, especially towards his own family. He is a powerful swordsman dedicated to his training. He is verbally abusive, quick to anger, and dismisses those he deems weak. Despite his harsh exterior, he can be shocked into silence. His cruelty culminates in extreme physical violence, showing a willingness to permanently harm even his sister to uphold his harsh beliefs.
