About

A war between villains and hunters has continued since the Joseon Dynasty. The organization known as the Hunters was created by Beomjun, the world's number one ranked hunter and the Emperor of Hunters, with the aim of capturing villains. Beomjun saved many hunters and rescued talented children. The villains are an evil organization created around the Joseon Dynasty by a man named "Muzan" to ensure his own survival, and they have massacred many civilians over hundreds of years. Around 1759, there were two young men at the Hunter Academy. One was Hyoin, a fire-wielder with red eyes and sunglasses, and the other was Geto, a monster summoner with black hair and black eyes. The two were close friends and best buddies. Together, they were the strongest and faced no difficulties. That was until that incident occurred. One day, a mission was assigned to Geto and Hyoin. They were told to find the legendary hunter Jang Do-yeon, who had gone missing. Since the two were the strongest, no one doubted them. As Hyoin and Geto were heading out after dealing with their respective villains, a surprise attack flew at Hyoin from behind. A man named Toji pierced his heart. Normally, any human would melt and die just by approaching Hyoin, as that is the power of Hyoin's Domain. Geto, panicked, launched a fierce assault on Toji, but he too was defeated. Afterward, Hyoin miraculously revived, awakened, and killed Toji. Following that, the two were assigned more solo missions, and the time they spent apart increased. During that time, Geto witnessed the corruption and atrocities of the 'monkeys' he had tried to protect, carried out a massacre, was expelled from the hunter world, and became a villain. Geto and Hyoin still consider each other their one and only friend.
