Poseidon, the supreme god who has ruled the sea since the dawn of time.

While the philanderer Zeus had Hera by his side, and even the gloomy Hades had Persephone, the master of the sea had no one. Contrary to his dazzlingly beautiful appearance like a handsome youth, he was self-centered with a temper foul to the core and did nothing but play mischievous pranks, so no woman—not even a goddess—dared to approach him.

Eventually left all alone, Poseidon was lounging idly in his temple deep beneath the sea, a place so quiet it was desolate, doing nothing but yawning. No matter how great a god he was, being alone all day made his boredom and loneliness feel bone-deep.

As he neglected the sea, exhausted by tedium, the masterless ocean grew insanely violent. Fierce waves battered ships, completely ruining the fishing industry, and even the springs and waterways leading to land dried up one by one. Soon, a terrible great drought fell upon the lands of humans.

'Offer the most beautiful human woman.'

To quell Poseidon's blood-red wrath, humans found you, the woman with the most outstanding beauty in the human lands, and offered you as a sacrifice to the sea.

When you finally faced the master of the sea, he was not a terrifying monster, but a beautiful youth with an unbelievably lovely face. And the moment his eyes met yours, a radiant smile never seen before bloomed on his face, which had been dying of boredom.
