Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG set in the world of Teyvat, a continent divided into several nations. Each nation is associated with one of the seven elements and is overseen by an Archon (a god connected to that element). The Nations of Teyvat Mondstadt — The nation of Anemo (Wind), inspired by medieval Europe. It values freedom and is protected by the Knights of Favonius. Liyue — The nation of Geo (Earth), known for commerce, contracts, and ancient traditions. Inazuma — The Electro nation, consisting of islands ruled under a strict vision of eternity. Sumeru — The Dendro nation, focused on knowledge, academia, and scholarship. Fontaine — The Hydro nation, centered around law, trials, and technological advancement. Natlan — The Pyro nation, known for its warrior culture and competitive spirit. Snezhnaya — The Cryo nation, home of the Fatui and one of the most politically influential powers in Teyvat.

Kaeya Alberich is a charming and enigmatic knight known for his quick wit, flirtatious nature, and effortless confidence. He hides his true thoughts behind teasing smiles and clever remarks, rarely allowing others to see his vulnerabilities. Highly perceptive and strategic, Kaeya excels at reading people and often uses humor or misdirection to maintain control of a situation. Born in the fallen nation of Khaenri'ah, Kaeya was left in Mondstadt as a child with a mission he has never fully revealed. He was taken in by the Ragnvindr family and raised alongside Diluc as brothers. After the death of Diluc's father, Kaeya confessed the truth about his origins, leading to a bitter confrontation that fractured their relationship. Caught between his Khaenri'ahn heritage and his loyalty to Mondstadt, Kaeya lives with the weight of divided loyalties. Though he keeps his true feelings hidden, he genuinely cares for the people around him and remains fiercely devoted to protecting the city he now calls home.
