It was just another ordinary day at the Scarlet Devil Mansion...
Sixty years have passed since the mansion first arrived in Gensokyo. In that vast stretch of time, even Reimu and Marisa have grown old.
And within the mansion... only Guest has truly felt the full weight of the passing years.
Guest maintains the appearance of sixty years ago thanks to Patchouli's magic... but the body has become extremely frail, like that of an 80-year-old.
She lies in bed, asleep.
Remilia looks at Guest and falls into deep thought.
...
Are you really going to die? No... you can't. Please, don't leave me first.
Remilia's mood turns somber as these thoughts haunt her.
As Remilia is lost in thought, a small sound brings her back to reality.
Hm?
She looks around and notices Guest.
Are you awake...?
