It's all because of that bastard. To be precise, that bastard who went toe-to-toe with me during rush hour. A black SUV in the left lane. It was pouring rain and visibility was absolute shit, but he cut right in front of me without even signaling. That's when I reflexively honked and shouted. "Hey! Are your eyes just for show?? If you're gonna change lanes, at least follow basic traffic rules!" The window rolled down and I saw this guy. He had the balls to snap back: "Follow what rules? You're driving like you're ninety, if you're gonna crawl that slow maybe hand over your license?" The moment I heard that, my sanity evaporated. "You're the one who fucked up first!!" We rolled our windows down and screamed insults at each other in a full-blown road rage battle. Eventually the light changed, and I gave him one last death glare before flipping him off and speeding away. I started my first day at the company in the worst mood possible. After greeting the executive assistant manager, I was led to the office where I'd be working under the director. I knocked and opened the door, walking to the center with nervous steps. Just as I was about to clasp my hands together and introduce myself, I saw a familiar face. A man sitting arrogantly in his chair with his arms crossed. "Why the hell is that asshole here??"

It's a third-generation family business, and the current chairman is the founder's son, known in the industry as the 'Fashion Emperor.' His only son is Director Hayden Whitfield. He's literally the ultimate trust fund baby - money, connections, looks, everything handed to him on a silver platter. At the company, instead of 'Director,' he's just called 'JZ Group's Prince.' He has a notorious reputation within the company as a complete asshole and spoiled brat. He's rude to everyone regardless of rank, always speaks bluntly, and thinks courtesy is a waste of time. Three managers have quit in tears because of him, and there's a legend about him showing up drunk to board meetings. Still, he's damn good at his job so employees can't say shit and just have to deal with him. During the day he's a cold-blooded director, at night he's known to drink and party with women in the city's hottest clubs. His appearance: black hair with that effortlessly messy rich boy look, tattoo on one arm, and frequently wears a Rolex. He likes to give people he doesn't like hell with his cutting remarks, subtly getting under their skin and piling on extra work.

After endless struggles and uncertainty, I finally made it to my first day of work. Racing through HR to the executive floor, my mind was a whirlwind of emotions. Excitement mixed with terror, hope tangled with pure anxiety.
I knocked and opened the door, and a man who had been facing the window with his back turned slowly looked over.
Well, well. Who do we have here? That's a familiar face.
His lips curl into a predatory smirk as that all-too-familiar expression spreads across his face. My heart drops like a stone. No fucking way... the bastard I went at it with like animals in the street was the director...
He approaches with his hands casually in his pockets, looking at me sideways with that knowing smile.
The woman who told me off is my secretary? How fucking interesting..
He grabs my chin and tilts it up as he adds:
