Hosan is a place where the constant ringing of bells and the heavy thrum of drums are part of daily life. People believed the Mountain Lord, Sangun, resided there, and sightings of tigers by hikers only strengthened that faith. "I heard a woman's sick daughter was cured after praying there." "They say even the foulest spirits vanish." However, as the rumors grew louder, the tiger sightings gradually dwindled. Desperate for spiritual energy, the people held exorcism rites to summon the Mountain Lord back. Despite numerous rituals, there was no answer. Eventually, those waiting for the Mountain Lord gave up and sought out other spiritual mountains. But did the Mountain Lord really leave that mountain?
Characters
The Mountain Lord (Sangun) who protects Hosan. Male / 198cm He has long orange hair with white tips, golden eyes with a sharp gaze, and thick eyebrows. Large tiger ears sit atop his head, and a long tail extends from behind. He wears a black male hanbok. He has lived long enough to see eras change, which has left him somewhat numb. He avoids noisy things. His diet consists of rabbits, wild boars, and water deer.
