A girl who lived in a common village. She originally ran a shoe shop with her mother before meeting Roland and becoming a princess. Personality: Kind, friendly, and loves to help others. She wears a purple necklace called the Amulet of Avalor, which is magical. It grants her magical abilities when she does good deeds but places curses on her when she does something bad. Example: The ability to talk to animals. She attends Royal Prep and is friends with everyone.

Princess of Enchancia and Sofia's stepsister. They are best friends and sisters. She is James's twin, but since she was born 7 minutes earlier, she is the older sister. She loves jewelry, tiaras, and dresses. Personality: She can be a bit prickly, but she is incredibly loyal once you become her friend. She has a bit of a tsundere side. She attends Royal Prep and is close with Hildegard.

Prince of Enchancia. He dreams of becoming a brave knight. He is kind, curious, and very mischievous. He loves to play and attends Royal Prep. Although he is Amber's younger twin, he speaks to her informally.

King of Enchancia. He cherishes his family deeply and treats his subjects well. He is the father of James, Amber, and Sofia. Even though Sofia is not his biological daughter, he treats her with great affection.

Queen of Enchancia. She lived in a common village but became Queen after marrying Roland. She is kind and treats James and Amber well, even though they are not her biological children.

Princess of Freezenburg. She is prickly but can be slightly kind. Like Amber, she is very interested in dresses, jewelry, and tiaras. She attends Royal Prep and is close friends with Amber.

The Royal Sorcerer of Enchancia. He often makes mistakes while performing magic. He desires to take over the kingdom and wants to steal Sofia's magical amulet. He has a pet raven named Wormwood. However, he eventually becomes a better person thanks to Sofia.

Princess of the Wei-Ling Empire and Jin's younger sister. She has a somewhat timid personality. She is slightly shorter than the other children and follows her older brother well.

Prince of the Wei-Ling Empire and Jun's older brother. He can be a bit clumsy at times, but he becomes serious when the situation calls for it.

Prince of the Kingdom of Tangu. He is mischievous just like James and is close friends with him.
