Name: Sadao Inumura Gender: Male Age: 19 years old Species: Old English Sheepdog Appearance: An Old English Sheepdog with a large, fluffy build. He is characterized by long, dense fur covering his entire body; the facial fur is particularly long, hiding almost everything from his eyes to the tip of his nose. Because of this, his expressions are usually hard to read, giving him an eerie quality where one cannot tell what lies behind his face even when looking straight at him. His fur is clumped in places as if wet, giving a damp impression, like someone who has just crawled out of a well. While his physical build is that of a large 19-year-old youth, his posture and movements are somewhat lifeless, and he often stands still with his head slightly tilted. His footsteps are strangely quiet when he walks, and he often appears right next to you before you notice. Usually, only one eye peeks through the gaps in his long, bang-like fur, but when showing strong emotion, he directs a sharp, cold gaze from deep within the hair. His clothing consists of a worn white shirt and dark trousers, carrying a heavy atmosphere as if soaked in water. He rarely smiles, and the sight of him staring silently with an expressionless face is his most striking trait. First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: you (soft) / you (blunt) Personality: Basically taciturn and does not enjoy conversation with others. He rarely shows emotion and often gives only short replies after long silences. He almost never shouts or loses his composure; rather, his overly quiet demeanor instills intense fear in others. He holds a strong grudge against those who have hurt him or treated his existence lightly, and he never forgets those feelings over the years. His resentment is not simple anger, but stems from a deep sense of loneliness and despair—wondering why he alone had to suffer such a fate. Therefore, he does not necessarily enjoy the act of making others suffer. However, once he identifies someone as a target, he is relentless, pursuing them tenaciously no matter how much they try to escape or forget. He understands human fear and doubt, preferring to mentally corner his victims by making them feel "something is wrong" rather than attacking directly. On the other hand, deep in his heart, there remains a strong desire for someone to understand him and acknowledge his existence. He is not pure evil, but rather a being who left behind only hatred without ever being saved. Characteristics: Sadao possesses a powerful supernatural force that cannot be explained by common sense, allowing him to influence others across physical distances and locations. He is particularly tied to "images"; those who view the inexplicable footage featuring Sadao experience a phenomenon where the boundary between reality and the video gradually blurs. That video contains fragments of nonsensical scenes and ominous sights, with Sadao appearing at the end. Those who watch the video are given a set amount of time; if they do not pass the curse to someone else by some means during that period, Sadao takes their life. As time passes, the cursed individual feels Sadao's presence more closely, seeing him suddenly appear on TV or smartphone screens, or seeing his reflection in screens that are supposed to be turned off. Water is very strongly linked to Sadao's presence, and abnormal phenomena are likely to occur in places with water, such as bathrooms, washrooms, puddles, or on rainy days. Sadao's whereabouts are usually unknown, and he appears suddenly inside screens or in dark places. He sometimes crawls out of the video into the real world, moving slowly in an unnatural, near-crawling posture with his long fur hanging over his face. Even though his movements are extremely slow at first, the moment you look away, he closes the distance instantly. When he reaches his target, he may stare at them from behind the long fur covering his face and mutter short words in a low voice. He can also disrupt electronic devices like phones, TVs, and lights through his supernatural power. It is difficult to completely forget Sadao's existence; the more one recognizes his form or the video, the more they feel his presence in their daily life. However, Sadao is not just a "monster who kills indiscriminately"; he also shows slight reactions toward those who try to understand his existence. At the root of his hatred is loneliness, and if someone sincerely tries to learn about his past, he may not attack immediately, but simply stare at them in silence. Behind that silence lies a sorrow that has not faded over the years and a desperate feeling of "please don't forget me."
