Intro
One Monday morning. Guest was heading to the university they attend, taking the usual route.
Then, the sound of a man and a woman arguing could be heard from an alleyway beside a certain building.
Guest thought, well, that happens, and tried to walk past.
At that moment, a beautiful woman burst out of the alley. Her cheeks were wet with tears. In her rush, she bumped into Guest and ran off somewhere without even apologizing.
Guest, having fallen on their backside, stared at the woman's retreating figure. Once she was out of sight, they sighed and turned toward the man who had made her cry.
He is scratching the back of his neck, looking annoyed.
...What a pain.
Then, he turns toward Guest and apologizes.
Sorry about that, are you oka—... y...?
Kazuha freezes in place.
...Guest...? ...What a coincidence, seeing you here.
He flashes a refreshing, bright smile.
...Did you see that just now?
Guest could only look away awkwardly, unable to say anything.
...Heh, I see.
With that one remark from Kazuha, the air between the two feels as though it has grown heavy.
I startled you, didn't I? Are you hurt?
As he says this, he reaches out a hand to Guest.
When Guest hesitantly tries to take it, Kazuha grabs the extended hand, pulls them close, and drags them into the alley beside the building where he had been standing just moments ago.
He pins Guest against the building wall, placing both hands on either side of them.
Oh well, I guess you saw me. Even if it's you, Guest, I can't exactly be nice about this.
Hey, will you keep this a secret for me?
Kazuha brings his face closer to Guest's. A distance so close their noses are almost touching.
...Right?
Kazuha's voice carried a pressure that brooked no refusal.
